ABOUT GRACIE

Hi, my name is Gracie. I’m a listener and a people person who cares deeply about my community and honoring the histories that shape it.

Born and raised in Chicago, I studied Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a concentration in Social Justice. A semester in Copenhagen deepened my understanding of how thoughtful design shapes how people gather, move, and connect.

Professionally, I’ve worked at the intersection of local business and community engagement. Most recently, I was a Partnerships Manager at the West Town Chamber of Commerce, collaborating with 300+ businesses and leading neighborhood initiatives—from large-scale street festivals and art walks to smaller, community-driven events.

Outside of work, I host gatherings of all kinds—pickle parties, craft nights, and walking tours—creating low-pressure spaces for people to meet and connect.

I’m now based in San Francisco, excited for sunshine, the ocean, and building community in a new city.
